About the event
Join our Promotions Officers Paul and Megan for a walk around one of their favourite nature reserves in this exclusive event for members of the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
We'll be looking out for swallows, sand martins, terns, and invertebrates including wasp spiders, butterflies and dragonflies at Summer Leys nature reserve.
Come along to meet other members, learn more about how this reserve is thriving after its post-quarrying restoration, and how your membership is helping the wildlife across the three counties.
There is a choice of two walks, both two hours (ish) in length - 10am-12pm or 2-4pm.
Parking at Summer Leys: There is free parking at Summer Leys for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN, and members need to register their car in advance (please allow 2-3 business days for your registration form to be processed), details can be found here.
There is bicycle parking behind the visitor centre.
