About the event

Come and discover how this incredible chalk grassland nature reserve comes alive after dark.
Join our staff and local wildlife experts as they help you use all your senses to experience the reserve in a whole new way.
Along the way, we’ll be searching for bats, hoping to spot glow-worms, and, towards the end of the evening, exploring the diverse range of moths found on the reserve.

Itinerary for the evening:

9.00-9.30pm Arrival on site and refreshments

9:30-11:30pm (or until midnight) Guided walk around Totternhoe Nature Reserve with experienced Wildlife Trust staff to spot nocturnal creatures, including bats and glow-worms. We will use bat detectors to help locate bats on the site.
Towards the end of the evening, we will meet experts from a local moth recording group and explore the wide variety of moths found on the reserve.
